The Vision of The Navigators
Since 1933 The Navigators have existed to know Christ and to make Him known. Founder Dawson Trottman saw the potential to reach the entire world with the Gospel through discipleship: one person reaching another person, who would in turn reach another, and so forth. The vision statement of The Navigators reflects this philosophy.
To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.
The Vision of Florida Navs
Florida Navs affirms that vision and seeks to move it forward through college students and recent college graduates. Our vision statement speaks of our hope for these men and women.
To foster the growth and perseverance of Christ’s disciples and disciple-makers, equipping them to be lifelong laborers in the advancement of His Gospel and Kingdom.
This website also serves as a touchpoint for all the collegiate Navigator ministries throughout the Florida region. This is where students can find out about regional events such as the annual Ignite conference, summer training programs, and summer overseas mission trips. Navigator ministries that part of our region include University of Florida, Florida State University, University of South Florida, University of North Florida, Florida A&M University, and Valdosta State University.
